KATHMANDU: Saturday evening the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (NCP) KP Oli reached Sheetal Niwas.

At the end of the party's Secretariat meeting, PM Oli entered the President's Office for consultation with President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Spokesman Narayankaji Shrestha told that the meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar concluded with a decision to hold further talks.

In front of the Secretariat, NCP chairman duo KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda conducted one-to-one discussions.

Early this morning, at Prachanda 's residence in Khumaltar, five top leaders like Prachanda, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, Bamdev Gautam and Narayankaji Shrestha had a discussion.

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' was absent from the discussion at Khumaltar, it is known.

Similarly, Oli had discussions at his official residence in Baluwatar with leaders including Defense Minister Ishwor Pokharel, General Secretary Bishnu Poudel and Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal.

Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Oli, Dahal and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal decided to take the intra-party wrangling to the meeting of the Central Committee after the tripartite meeting made little headway.

The NCP, however, scrapped the decision in less than 24 hours, and decided to call the meeting of the party's secretariat.
