A video has gone viral on social media right now. According to the Indian newspaper Auto Hindustan, the video of a vehicle sinking in a ditch in the parking lot of the Mumbai Residential Complex is going viral.
In the viral video since Sunday, a hole is seen in the place where the car is parked. Gradually, the vehicle starts sinking through the front part of the same ditch.
Looking at the end of the video, the car sinks completely. This incident has taken everyone by surprise. Because the parking area is made of cement. The incident took place at Ram Niwas Society in West Ghatkopar. The video was taken by a resident of the same society.
Auto Hindustan has stated that there was no loss of life even if the vehicle sank.
Mumbai has been receiving heavy rains since last year. Initially, heavy rains were thought to have softened the soil and caused pits. But after investigation, it has been found that there was a dug well in that place first. The place where the dug well was was filled with cement slabs. The well was about 40 feet deep.
‘The housing society covered the dugout with concrete. And, the residents of the society have been parking in this place, 'Auto Hindustan quoted the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) as saying. Residents are now barred from going to the well. '
There have been many comments on social media about the incident. Chairman of Mahindra Group Ananda Mahindra even shared the video on his Twitter saying, 'The earth is angry. Also, it looks like he is hungry.
Meanwhile, BMC has said that it will not take any responsibility for the incident. But the residents of the society have been asked to adopt a security system.
