PM Oli absent from NCP committee meet

KATHMANDU, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli selected to not attend the committee meeting of the Kingdom of Nepal political party on Friday.

Though the meeting is happening at his official residence in Baluwatar, the prime minister failed to attend it when returning the responsibility of chairing the meeting to a different chairman of the party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the party sources say.

When the meeting began on weekday, Dahal had powerfully criticised Oli‘s leadership. Of late, alternative members of the party have conjointly suspect Oli of failing to guide each the party and also the government with efficiency. Some analysts even suppose that the discontented  members ar getting ready to demand Oli’s resignation from either of the positions.

In this context, his opponents say he's making an attempt to avoid being questioned by snubbing the meeting. His supporters, however, have claimed that Oli has conjointly got another necessary tasks. They add his presence within the meeting isn't mandatory as he has already self-addressed the meeting and he can recognize details of the discussion later anyway.
