India Bans 59 Chinese Apps: Chinese Mobile App List of Alternatives To Replace

0

KATHMANDU,  TikTok, ShareIt and UC Browser are among the top Chinese apps that the Indian Government has banned. Move on to the potential alternatives.
The Indian government banned 59 Chinese apps including some of the most prominent names like TikTok, UC Browser, Kings Clash, and ShareIt. The decision came in the midst of a massive backlash against China after a face-off at Ladakh on June 15 in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred.
Inputs from intelligence agencies have shown that these Chinese apps were either used as spyware or malware, and are in clear violation of the terms of use, compromising the privacy of a user. The ban was enforced pursuant to Section 69A of the IT Act, with the related provisions of the Rules 2009 on Information Technology (Procedure and protections for blocking public access to information)
