KATHMANDU: The new film 'A Year of Cold,' by filmmaker Min Bahadur Bham, has won a cash prize of 75,000 Euros for the script. The award was given by Turkey's TRT 12 Punto Script Lab for the film's script.
She is already young. As her husband Pema unexpectedly disappears, she looks for her husband and the tale continues.
It is not the film's first foreign award win. The film had earlier been awarded at the 72nd Paris Cannes Film Festival. He earned USD 60,000 to make the film.
Likewise, he won 6,000 Euros at Switzerland's Locarno Film Festival in 2018.
The film also received funding at CineFundation Residence, Busan Festival, during the early stages of writing.
