KATHMANDU, Lalitpur metropolitan city says the famous Krishna Temple in Mangalbajaar, the city's Patan won't be open to pilgrims even on Krishna Janmashtami, the annual festival commemorating Lord Krishna 's birth.Hindus across the world are celebrating the festival coming Tuesday this year.
Whereas on this special day, the Malla-era temple will attract thousands of pilgrims each year, this time it will remain closed due to the Covid-19 fears, according to Chief Shree Bhadra Ojha of the General Administration Division of the local government. On Thursday the city government and local Mangal Tole Sudhar Sangh took the decision.
