काठमाडौं । मातृभाषा संरक्षणको लागि विकेन लिम्बू पुनः नांगिएका छन् । लिम्बूले विश्व मातृभाषा दिवसको अवसरमा नेपालमा रहेको सम्पूर्ण मातृभाषाहरुको संरक्षणको माग गर्दै मुलुकको प्रमुख प्रशासनिक कार्यालय सिंहदरबार अगाडि नाङ्गै प्रर्दशनमा निस्किएका थिए । उनलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ ।
हातमा “म मेरो मातृभाषाको संरक्षण गर्न चाहान्छु” भन्ने नारा लेखिएको प्लेकार्ड बोकेर निस्किएको केही समयमै प्रहरीले उनलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएका थियो । उनले संस्कृत भाषालाई जस्तै अन्य जातजातिका मातृभाषालाई पनि राज्यले संरक्षण गर्नुपर्ने आफ्नो मुख्य माग रहेको बताए ।
यसअघि पनि उनले सिंहदरबार अगाडि नांगै प्रर्दशन गरेका थिए ।
KATHMANDU: Viken Limbu has re-emerged for the preservation of the mother Language. On the occasion of World Mother Language Day, Limbu staged a naked demonstration in front of the country's main administrative office Singha Durbar demanding protection of all mother Languages in Nepal. He has been arrested by the police.
Police arrested him shortly after he left with a playcard saying, "I want to protect my mother Language." He said that his main demand was that the state should protect the mother Language of other castes as well as Sanskrit.
Earlier, he had protested naked in front of Singha Durbar.
