Today Akshay Tritiya is being celebrated, so this day is considered special?

Kathmandu: The Akshay Tritiya festival, which is celebrated every year on the day of Baisakh Shukla Tritiya, is being celebrated today by donating and consuming everything.

According to the classical law, it is decided to get up early this morning, cover the house, take a bath and prepare worship items. Diyo, Kalash and Ganesha are worshiped by placing a copper plate with Ashta Dal inscribed on the Kalash.

There is a Vedic orthodox tradition of offering pure water in a copper or earthen vessel to the priest and donating pitha and barley flour mixed with cinnamon, cloves, sweetmeat, cardamom, honey, sugar, sugarcane and sugarcane.

It is described in various Puranas that the good deeds done on this day including bathing, almsgiving, meditation and chanting will never be destroyed. Since barley is similar to nectar in the summer of Satu and Vaishakh, it is a tradition from Vedic times to donate and eat it yourself.

Prof. Dr. Ram Chandra Gautam, a theologian and chairman of the Nepal Panchang Judging Committee, says that both things will help to save the body from heat and will also get strength from it. It is also said to help boost the body's immune system. Ayurvedic doctors say that Satu and Sarvat increase the human body's resistance to disease when the infection of Kovid-19 spreads rapidly.

"Even if you donate a little on the day of Vaishakh Shukla Tritiya, you will get a lot of fruits and it is indestructible, that is, it will never perish. Today, this day is called Akshaya Tritiya. , He said.

Ghada donated today is also called Dharmaghatadi donation. Today it is customary to donate umbrellas, sticks and cloth shoes to the elderly and to donate cows, land, grain and gold to the deserving Brahmins. Such donations are also made to the helpless and destitute. It is believed that Aradhyadeva Mahadev and Parvati, the daughter of Himalayas, got married in the Satya Yuga today. Therefore, there is a belief that you do not have to go to the site today to get married. The beginning of the Tretayuga is also a scriptural word from today. This date is called Akshay Tritiya as the good deeds done on this day will bring inexhaustible fruit.

Parashuram Jayanti

The birth anniversary of sage Parashuram, who was born on the day of Akshay III, is also celebrated today. It is mentioned in various mythological texts that Parashuram, one of the Ashtchiranjeevis, was born on the evening of the third day. Parashurama was born as the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

It is also explained in the scriptures that sage Jamadagni and Renuka's son Parashuram killed mother Renuka on the orders of father Jamadagni. It is mentioned that after father Jamadagni asked Parashuram for a bridegroom, he asked others not to know that he had killed his mother alive.

Parashuram, one of the Ashtchiranjeevis, had traveled around the world 21 times after the assassination of his father Jamadagni. Theologian Gautam says that he was born as the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu to protect the saint and kill the villain after the ego began to grow in the region. All the sons of King Kartavirya were killed by Parashuram.
